seohouse is a Canadian business that builds websites and runs local marketing for independent businesses. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email hello@seohouse.com.

When you ask for a free audit or contact us, we collect what you choose to give us:

• your name, business name, email address and phone number
• your website or Google listing, which POS you use, what you need help with and anything else you tell us
• the referral link or campaign that brought you to us, if there was one

We also measure how the site is used with Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you. It records things like the pages viewed, the referring site, and the browser, device type and country. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site.

• to prepare and send your audit, and to reply to you
• to quote for, set up and deliver our services if you become a client
• if you reached us through a partner's link, to let that partner know you got in touch so the referral is credited. We don't share the details of your request with them.
• to understand which pages are useful and improve the site

By sending us a request, you agree to us contacting you about it. We won't add you to a newsletter or send marketing emails or texts unless you've said yes, in line with Canada's anti-spam law (CASL). Every marketing message includes an easy way to unsubscribe.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and handle messages, such as our hosting provider (Vercel) and our email provider. They may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We only share what they need to provide their service, and we don't sell personal information.

If you don't become a client, we keep your request for up to two years and then delete it. If you do, we keep your information for as long as we work together and as long as we're required to for tax and accounting.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@seohouse.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
